The “Women and Family Graduate Student Symposium” was organized by the Hitit University Women and Family Issues Application and Research Center (HÜKAM).
The symposium was held at the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, where issues related to family structure and gender were discussed from the perspectives of different disciplines. The symposium, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menekşe Şahin, Head of the Department, served on the Executive and Organizing Committee, was held on December 11–12, 2025, with broad participation.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat Gencer and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Hatipoğlu contributed to the symposium by chairing various sessions.
